It may or may not seem like I enjoy figuring out statistics, but I really do wish to get an idea of how the NCHC's first year will be played out.  So this is what I did; I took each team's 2013 recruits and calculated their averages.  They descend based on the point-per-game average category  like always, and this is what I came up with.

Alright so with the exception of the players, every other category is an average of all of the team's committed players, by position.  Ready go.

What's the Point?

Yeah I know it's early and players could potentially still make committments, but I just wanted to see how it lays out right now.  When predicting the conference as a whole next year, keep in mind you must take into consideration graduating seniors and early departures.

I can already tell the NCHC is going to be an awesome conference.  Hopefully much like the WCHA is, competatively speaking, this year.  Of course with better referees :)

I had a couple requests to throw together a list of upcoming recruits for the new NCHC conference to make comparisons.  I think we all know this is going to be one of the top conferences next year, with respect to the others as well.  So ask and you shall receive...

Listed below is every player that has committed to a team that will be joining the NCHC next year.  I have the commits organized based on the year they're suppose to join their future team, divided by position, and descending on a points-per-game basis.

I was able to update all of the stats tonight (1/30), so everything should be up to date.  If a player has minimal games entered, it is either due to poor statistic uploading or the given player may have switched teams in which I took the team he currently skates for.
